3-Hour Race Details:
Which way you start your loop will depend on your bib number and a coin toss. Once you complete the 3.3 mile loop and are back at the aid station, you will go out the way you just came in and complete your next loop the opposite way.
This ensures safety and comradery. This also adds a different kind of challenge.

$1,000 Challenge​ Race Details:
Which way you start your loop will depend on your bib number (each year we will have a new method)! Once you complete the 3.3 mile loop and are back at the aid station, you will go out the way you just came in and complete your next loop the opposite way. After 6 loops, you will go out clockwise on the course and complete roughly 1.4 miles and take a right off the trail onto Herilhy Road - following it to the aid station finish line.

Gender Equivalent: Men must complete the 6.5. laps in 3 hours. Women must complete the 6.5 laps in 3hour17minutes.

Location/Trail: The race starts HERE.
You will be following orange blazes for most of this hike. You'll notice the blue blazes of the North Country Trail as you hike near Spruce Pond, but for the most part you'll follow the orange blazes for the Fellows Hill Loop Trail.
There is a parking area at Spruce Pond for about 8 cars. This moderate 3.5 mile loop hike has an overall elevation gain of 607 feet .

Parking: Limited parking will be at Spruce Pond campsite, located at Herlihy Rd, Tully, NY 13159. Overflow parking will be at the 2 large parking lots over on Shackham Road to the East (about a mile away).

Race day bib pickup only: 7:30am to 8:00am

Headphones: Headphones are not permitted.

Aid Stations: Water and Gatorade will be provided; along with a few snacks.

Bathroom Facilities: There is a port-a-potty on the premises; however, you have the woods. Count on the woods, not the port-a-potty.

Deferrals/Refunds: There are no transfers nor deferrals. There are no refunds for this event.​
